"The broth is okay, but the ramen is very average. It was no better than having something out of an instant noodle packet. There is free flow of boiled eggs. But they're not cooked consistently. Some are over boiled. I am unimpressed. Eat here if you're really hungry and get all the eggs you want."

"One of my favorite raman haunts when visiting Tanjong Pagar. The broth is flavourful and thick and it comes with a free flow of hard boiled eggs which i feel is a nice touch!"

Lobster mac & cheese, mozzarella & cognac
"Excellent, succulent lobsters! We ordered the chilli lobster and lobster roll. The price speaks for its quality. Very comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended!"

Jonathan Sng
"Hands down one of the best lobster house in Singapore. The lobsters are really fresh and tasty. I would especially recommend the "Chili Lobster", a different local twist on Canadian lobster. Overall, a bit more expensive than I anticipated (about SGD 60/lobster), but then again for the quality, it's (...)"

"Wait for 2 people was 30 minutes. 6 bartenders, only 2 are capable of making drinks. The others stand around aimlessly. More than 10 min just to get a margarita, sitting at the bar. Marg was good. The constant blaring Edm makes it feel more like a club/bar then a restaurant. Finally seated once we c (...)"

good morning folks...having a traditional dim sum breakfast. old school. #redstarrestaurant #dimsum (...)
"Old school dimsum place for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Dinner time they serve Chinese main courses, which is not bad either. The dimsum is served in old-school trolleys like how they do it in Hongkong, so that may appeal to some. Taste wise it's pretty decent; nothing too fantastic, but sufficient (...)"

"The black jelly is called guilingao. According to wikipedia : Guilingao is a jelly-like Chinese medicine. ... Commercially available guīlínggāo sold as a dessert..., share the same herbal additives as the medicine and are similarly marketed as being good for skin complexion when ingested. "

"It's a two storey cafe that consistently dishes out good coffee and mains. With free wifi and power outlets freely available, what's there not to like? It is considerably quieter on weekday evenings, so it's definitely a good place to relax after work if you are not a fan of pubs."

Susan Tan
"An eye-catching red shophouse along Tanjong Pagar Road. The sign for this place is small so it may be easy to miss. The ground floor only has counter and bar stools but the second floor has proper tables and chairs. The drinks are pretty good. We had a range of coffee (both hot and cold), tea, iced (...)"

"Great food specially the Lobster Fest. Nice ambience. Love the selections at the dessert area. On crowded days the waiters take time to get back to you if you order or request something."

"Great for sharing with friends. The chicken broth can get a bit cloying. Expect long wait in the queue if you don't go early enough to queue for a table. "

"Bijin nabe is awesome and the Chinatown outlet allows for reservations. However, not too sure whether is it the food or the service, but the Plaza Singapura outlet feels nicer - just that you need to stand in the queue for a long while."
