"I like the vibe here. Out of the way but it has a relaxing atmosphere when the hipsters are not around. You can really slow down to enjoy your cuppa and that amazing hotcakes!"

"Good ambience, excellent coffee, delicious food. Everything is very very fancy. It isn't obvious on the menu, but 'Gardens by the hills' on the breakfast menu is a SALAD. I assumed the quinoa was the main and the salad was a side. Was still tasty, though. "

"Paddy Hills is a modern Aussie-inspired restaurant serving Australian-Japanese fare. It is a cafe by day, and tapas dining bar by night. Coffee are roasted by Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee. The recommended dishes are the pretty berry ricotta pancakes and golden man tou sliders."

"My experience on this Sunday morning was one of the worst I've ever had in my life. I frequent this place often as my house is a stone throw away from the Cafe. This morning, two plates of "Bacon Steak N Eggs" ($23 each) were ordered. If you've ever tried the dish three months ago, it would have been a orgasmic experience - with the caramelized juicy pork, nicely done served with nicely poached eggs and grilled potatoes. However, what was served today were dully "home cured" bacon steaks that were so dry that it was inedible (FYI my friends finished the potatoes, eggs and veges to fill their empty stomachs for their Sunday brunch but left 70% of the bacon steak untouched). So naturally, we gave feedback accordingly and kindly asked the staff if there was anything else they could offer us given we've only eaten fibre and meager proteins. Sadly, the result was a series of "ping pong" conversation with the manager in-charge, Ms Valerie. Our debate ranged from saying it was an "unethical" request of us for them to change a dish that would fit our appetite, to implying that we were not giving honest feedback (think: I came here on a Sunday morning to enjoy good food and drinks with my friends, and to argue with people who don't value their customers/do their job well). Throughout my conversation with Valerie, all I received was an attitude of a combination of defensiveness, passive aggression and non-apologies. Being the leader of her service crew, it was remarkable to see ho"

"Don't expect regular café food at this café, as it's closer to fine dining. Excellent quality, but halfway to restaurant pricing with cheapest lunch item $20. Now that your expectations are set, go enjoy!"
